Mediacom Communications is deploying Evolution Digital's eBOX IP Hybrid Set-Top Box, powered by TiVo (NASDAQ:TIVO). The eBOX will include Evolution Digital-enabled IP pay-per-view (PPV) services.

The boxes integrate QAM and IP video to deliver QAM live linear TV, combined with OTT streaming apps and IP VOD content on one platform. They also feature universal search, personal recommendations and browse capabilities across platforms.
Mediacom delivers cable, Internet and phone services to nearly 1.4 million customers primarily located in the Midwest and Southeast.
