Comcast Business (NASDAQ:CMCSA) has announced a nearly $500,000 fiber network expansion to the Canyon Park area in Bothell, WA. Designed to deliver up to 10 Gbps of capacity, Comcast's business services will be available to 120 businesses located in the Canyon Park Business Center and the Canyon Park Gateway area.

Comcast's Ethernet expansion will bring Ethernet, Internet, video and voice services to businesses across a variety of industries, including healthcare, biotechnology, manufacturing, retail, dining and hospitality.

"High-performance networks are now just as, if not more, important to business success as other traditional factors, such as physical location," said Matt Fassnacht, vice president of Comcast Business in Washington. "Canyon Park businesses can now leverage our reliable network, fast Internet speeds and advanced technology services to stand out from the competition and drive growth. This, in turn, can spur local economic development by keeping existing companies happy as well as attracting new businesses to the area."
