Broadband Technology Report (BTR), the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) and SCTE's global arm, the International Society of Broadband Experts™ (ISBE), today announced a partnership that is designed to create new learning opportunities for cable technology workforce professionals.
The agreement calls for BTR and SCTE/ISBE to partner on the development of new LiveLearning Webinars for Professionals content that extends and reinforces current SCTE/ISBE training or that offers insights into emerging technology. BTR will collaborate with SCTE/ISBE on content development and will be responsible for sponsorship sales support. The webinars will be conducted on the third Thursday of each month beginning Thursday, January 19, and will be free to all industry professionals.

LiveLearning Webinars for Professionals features industry experts who share knowledge on subjects that are key to the deployment of current and next-generation residential and business services. The first webinar in the series under the new partnership, "Improving Multiscreen Services," will be conducted at 2 p.m. ET next Thursday, January 19. Kurt Michel, senior marketing director of IneoQuest, will be the featured presenter. Subsequent webinars are slated to include:
