At ANGA COM in Cologne, Germany, Casa Systems will focus on multi-gigabit speeds and differentiated services via multi-service cable access platform. Casa will demonstrate its integrated C100G CCAP, full spectrum DOCSIS 3.1 and Distributed Access Architecture (DAA) capabilities. Also, Casa's Chief Wireless Strategist will participate in a 5G fixed-mobile convergence panel.

Casa demonstrations at ANGA will center on CCAP and related capabilities of the C100G. Specific technology and capability demos will include:

  • C100G CCAP: Casa will display its C100G, designed to deliver voice, video and data traffic over a single port. The C100G combines DOCSIS PHY and MAC, edge QAM video, routing and MPLS, and subscriber and traffic management and control in a 13 RU platform.
  • DOCSIS 3.1: Casa will demonstrate upstream and downstream traffic throughput on its C100G. It's designed to support full spectrum DOCSIS 3.1 to deliver gigabit services with no hardware changeouts, and a path to multi-gigabit services in the future.
  • Distributed Access: Casa will highlight its Distributed Access Architecture, including the DAN200 Distributed Access Node, using the C100G. The solution is designed to increase network density and subscriber bandwidth with one new card in the CCAP core, providing a migration path to distributed and virtualized access networks.
