Teleste has introduced two new DOCSIS 3.1-compliant 1.2 GHz RF amplifiers. [Editor's Note: The original version of this story described the new products as fiber amplifiers. We regret the error.] The company says its broadband portfolio now includes all the devices needed to build 1.2 GHz downstream and 204 MHz upstream networks from headend to home.

The new amplifiers, the AC3010 and AC3210, combine 1.2 GHz downstream frequency with aditional features and automatic adjustments. The two amplifiers are equal in capacity and features but the AC3010 has one active output whereas the AC3210 has two.

The AC3010 and AC3210 are designed for wide gain range, better RF performance and increased power efficiency than previous models. All adjustments are electrical and can be controlled via a management interface. They also allow automatic recognition of diplexer filters.

Teleste will be showcasing the new amplifiers at the ANGA COM show in Cologne, Germany, in June.
