The Kudelski Group's (SIX:KUD.S) OpenTV subsidiary has filed patent infringement counterclaims against Yahoo! in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The counterclaims allege that Yahoo infringes 10 U.S. video patents owned by OpenTV and identify several infringing products and services, including Yahoo Smart TV, Yahoo Connected TV, Yahoo TV, Yahoo interactive video advertisements, Yahoo fantasy gaming and Yahoo Screen. OpenTV's filing also responds to a complaint for declaratory judgment filed by Yahoo on Jan. 21.
