Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) has launched its Revenue Manager 16, a cloud-based charging and billing product for digital service providers. The new BSS is designed to let operators launch new products and services in minutes, capture new revenue streams through real-time revenue sharing with partners, and drive customer experience through personalized omni-channel interactions, embedded analytics and unified policy control.

At Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Ericsson will demonstrate Revenue Manager 16 with multiple use cases, including real-time OTT monetization, embedded analytics, elastic scaling, real-time usage and invoicing, and adaptive business logic.

In other Ericsson MWC news, the company and Qualcomm say they have completed the network and device testing of LTE-Advanced features enabling download speeds of 1 Gbps. The interoperability testing included Qualcomm's Snapdragon X16 LTE modem and Ericsson Networks Software 16B. The testing was conducted at Ericsson headquarters in Sweden and witnessed by executives from Telstra.
