Texas-based service provider GVTC plans to deploy Synacor's (NASDAQ:SYNC) full suite of services, including launching the vendor's End-to-End Video Solutions for multiscreen in-home and out-of-home video services. The multiyear agreement also includes Synacor's Native Mobile Apps that integrate with Bill Pay and My Account functions, Synacor's Search & Discovery Metadata Platform for Multiscreen TV, upgrading to Synacor's newest generation portal, and renewing Zimbra e-mail services.
GVTC offers high-speed Internet (including 1 Gbps), digital cable TV, phone, smart home and business services in north San Antonio, the Texas hill country and south central Texas. In June 2014, the GVTC GigaRegion was formed as a public-private partnership with the cities of Boerne, Bulverde and Gonzales.
