Cincinnati Bell Picks Edgeware Video Platform

Cincinnati Bell (NYSE:CBB) has deployed Edgeware's Video Consolidation Platform (VCP), including its CDN caching and distribution capabilities. The VCP is designed to support network-based VOD and time-shift services, including catch-up and start-over TV, while enhancing existing live IPTV services with improved channel change times. The deployment is intended to enable Cincinnati Bell to deliver the services to both set-top boxes and multiscreen devices from a single platform.
