ADTRAN (NASDAQ:ADTN) says it has now enabled gigabit broadband services in more than 200 communities as part of its "Enabling Communities, Connecting Lives" program.
The program is intended to support economic growth and urban development via deployment of ADTRAN's WiFi and fiber-based 1 Gbps broadband services, along with cloud connectivity solutions. It's focused on reinvigorating downtown business and residential districts, connecting classrooms with other learning centers around the world, and helping attract new companies seeking to relocate out of crowded urban centers.
