FCC Commissioners Ajit Pai and Mike O'Rielly have requested that the FCC leadership immediately release the 332-page Internet regulation plan publicly and allow the American people at least 30 days to study it. The two commissioners want the vote delayed until after the FCC reviews the specific input it receives and makes any modifications to the plan as appropriate.

Pai and O'Rielly wrote in a statement that the Open Internet plan, scheduled for vote on Feb. 26, is drastically different than the proposal the FCC adopted and put out for public comment last May.

The current version, only parts of which have been publically released, calls for Title II utility-style regulation (with some exceptions) of Internet service providers and has drawn wide criticism from service providers and related industry groups.
