The NCTA, CableLabs and SCTE have issued their call for papers for the 2015 Spring Technical Forum during INTX: The Internet & Television Expo, formerly known as The Cable Show.
Submitted papers should focus on new science, technology, services, algorithms, and architectures for cable. Topics of particular interest include:
- Cloud
- Wireless
- Security
- Future of computer science
- Streaming and OTT services
- Advanced cable architectures
- Spectrum allocation and efficiencies
- Reaching gigabit capacities
- All IP networks
- Bandwidth utilization, control and traffic engineering
- 4K/8K video compression and the impact on bandwidth requirements
Prospective authors should submit a proposal using the online submission tool available at intx.ncta.com/stf2015 no later than Dec. 12. The Forum will take place May 5-7, 2015, in Chicago.
