Conklin-Intracom has introduced cdn|anywhere Pocket TV, an extension of its cdn|anywhere portfolio. It's intended to let service providers boost their subscriber base by offering anywhere services, regardless of existing infrastructure, network or delivery method.

The device is designed to turns any HDMI TV into a smart TV, so subscribers can watch live broadcasts, on-demand video and DVR anywhere they travel. Subscribers can create multiple user accounts, each with their own customizable EPG, and also rewind live TV.

The low-cost device is designed to eliminate the need for a set-top box or additional installations, so that operators can implement it as a low-cost entry-point solution, with minimal investment risk.

The company will demonstrate cdn|anywhere Pocket TV and other products at the NCTC's Independent Show in Kansas City, MO, on July 28 and 29.
