Gorman Leaving Charter

Charter Communications Vice President of Field Operations Tom Gorman will be leaving the company on Dec. 31. He tells BTR that he's not retiring any time soon, but has no immediate plans beyond some skiing in January.Gorman, a 35-year cable veteran, has been with Charter since 2003. He's a past chairman of the SCTE board of directors and was named member of the year at Cable-Tec Expo in Atlanta last month. His career has also included stints with Jedai Broadband Networks, Gemini Networks, Comcast and Jones Communications.
